Class 2: Second Series Backbends

A step-by-step clinic on the Second Series backbend family using the crouch → spring → destination rhythm. We drill Śalabhāsana A/B (plank → Chaturanga → belly setup; emphasize leg length over foot height), then Dhanurāsana with dynamic, single-move entries that make holding easier. From kneeling, we work Uṣṭrāsana with the rule head-first down, chest-first up, then build toward Laghuvajrāsana/Kapotāsana: charge the limbs, choose a destination, and land in one decisive move, repeating reps before a final 5-breath hold. The session ends with dropbacks at the wall and seated ujjāyī to connect backbending to breath and calm.
