Class 2 deepens your backbending skills by focusing on wall-supported drills that build precision, confidence, and control. We begin with Urdhva Dhanurasana using the wall and blocks to strengthen leg actions, explore heel lifts, and gradually move away from the wall into unsupported variations. In Drop Backs, we’ll use the wall to practice alignment, the “crouch and spring” technique, and gradually lower with greater ease and stability. Tic Tacs in Headstand continue with wall support to help refine the spinal arch, explore transitions over and back, and begin preparations for handstand. We’ll close with a Final Backbend by dropping back to the wall and holding—solidifying strength and spaciousness in the spine. This class offers practical progressions and thoughtful use of props to make deep backbending accessible and empowering for all levels.
