This session pairs lotus-inversion play with a powerful Urdhva Dhanurasana circuit. First, you practice folding into lotus, half lotus, or cross-legs while inverted, progressing through one-minute rounds in shoulderstand and headstand, then 30 seconds in forearm balance. The focus is froglike, dextrous leg work—external rotation, diagonal reach, then folding into place on both sides—without losing balance. Then you move into a three-stage Wheel sequence: feet on blocks at the wall, hands on blocks, then hands and feet on the floor, with the option to use Bridge. In each variation you come to your head, then press up into full Wheel three times per set, finishing with a 30-second hold in the version of your choice. Together, these drills build hip opening, inversion control, and the leg, arm, and spinal strength needed for confident, repeatable backbends and transitions.
